TV Interface Design – Altech UEC

Business Requirements:

Altech UEC are a leading provider for set-top-boxes for regional communities.

My Responsibilities:

My role in this project was to design the UI of the set-top-box once connected to a TV. This included menu displays, icons and information plates, while considering the user experience.

My Approach:

I began by sketching out the information plate to set a base for elements used throughout the design:

Step 2 of 2 – UI Design:

I included the shape design, Altech UEC’s branding and bold colours to display information clearly (e.g. the white on the dark blue).

Impact:

This resulted in a design that was unique to Altech UEC with an easy user journey throughout the screens, that helped the user find what they need.
