Business Requirements:
Show Works are a dance equipment supplier, with a high profile client base. An AdWords campaign was running for the keywords ‘Dance Mirrors’, which lead users to a brand-focused landing page and not to a specific page regarding their Dance Mirrors. This subsequently resulted in a low conversion rates which needed to be improved.
My Responsibilities:
Working closely with the AdWords team my role involved checking the performance of all clients daily and identifying areas that can be improved for CRO. After discovering the campaign for ‘Dance Mirrors’ leading to a brand-focused page, designing a page specific to the campaign was of priority to keep users interested and converted after clicking through. As well as designing, I also wrote the copy for the landing page as well as sourcing it from their main website.
My Approach:
I took the copy from their AdWords campaign and ensured to have that reflected as soon as the user clicks through. This allows the user to quickly see what they clicked on is what they are getting. I highlighted the key Dance Mirror products Show Works have along with key features that users are looking for when shopping for Dance Mirrors. Call-to-actions remained visible at any given point on the page encouraging users to engage and convert.
The Impact:
This new landing page resulted in growth of 7% in leads, within the first two weeks of creation.
