Business Requirements:
GraysOnline are a large online retailer of many different brands and products. They required a series of landing page designs that fit within their website, that promoted a new sub-brand of GraysOnline.
My Responsibilities:
I was in charge of designing the landing pages, sourcing copy and implementing the pages onto their website with HTML/CSS.
My Approach:
I started my sketching out a layout for the design that could work well in regard to presenting information clearly, educating the user and reducing cognitive overload.
From there I sourced images and copy, and started building out the pages on their website.
Pivot Points:
As I am not a developer by trade there were a few limitations with the flexibility of the design, as well as constraints with implementing the designs straight onto their website.
I worked closely with a developer to ensure at the very least the design spoke clearly to the GraysOnline customer and information was easy to sift through.
Impact:
The landing pages performed well by educating users on what the new sub-brand was about and helped improve CTRs onto the main website.
